HR Intern
Turn your HR studies into hands-on experience!
Are you studying Human Resources and looking for an opportunity to turn your academic knowledge into practical experience? Would you like to learn what it is like to work with HR in an international organisation while supporting employees and managers in their day-to-day HR matters? Then this internship could be a great opportunity for you.
About the internship
As an HR Intern, you will become part of our European HR Support and Advisory team and work closely with HR colleagues supporting our Swedish organisation.
During your internship, in spring 2027, you will gain hands-on experience across a variety of HR processes and get an insight into the everyday work of an HR function in an international company. You will have the opportunity to combine administrative tasks with employee and manager support, while learning from experienced HR colleagues along the way.
You will be based at our office in Nacka Strand, Stockholm, were we have a hybrid working solution.
What you'll do
As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to:
Support employees and managers as part of our first-line HR support
Assist with day-to-day HR administration
Support the preparation and handling of employment documentation
Maintain and update employee data
Support the administration of different types of leave
Help guide employees and managers in HR-related questions and processes
Work closely with colleagues in Sweden and across our European HR organisation
Participate in HR projects and initiatives depending on current activities and your areas of interest
Throughout your internship, you will have support from the team and the opportunity to gradually take on more responsibility as you become familiar with our processes and ways of working.
What you'll learn
We want your internship to be an opportunity to put theory into practice and develop your understanding of HR in a professional environment.
During your time with us, you will get the opportunity to:
Gain practical HR experience in an international organisation
Develop an understanding of operational HR work and employee support
Gain insight into Swedish employment law and collective agreements and how they are applied in practice
Experience both the administrative and advisory sides of HR
Learn how an international HR organisation collaborates to support employees and managers
Who are we looking for?
We believe you are currently studying Human Resources/Personnel and Working Life (PA) or a similar university programme and are looking for an internship as part of your studies.
You don't need to know everything about HR yet. That's what the internship is for. What matters to us is that you are:
Curious and eager to learn, with an interest in developing within HR
Structured and organised, and comfortable keeping track of several things at once
Open to new challenges and willing to take initiative
A natural coordinator, who enjoys being at the centre of things and helping to move matters forward
A good communicator who enjoys interacting with different people
Comfortable communicating in both Swedish and English, as English is our corporate language
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is interested in people, enjoys providing good service and wants to understand how HR works in practice.
What we offer
You will join an international HR environment where you can learn from experienced colleagues while contributing to our everyday work. We want you to feel like part of the team and give you the opportunity to ask questions, challenge yourself and build practical HR experience alongside your university studies.
You'll get exposure to both Swedish and European HR perspectives, while gaining valuable experience of supporting employees and managers in a large organisation.
Does this sound like an internship for you? We'd love to hear from you!
