My name is Anna Zalamans Akkawi, Manager- Performance & Data Insights. I am the hiring manager for this role at Dustin. Your role & influence as Data Engineer
Responsibility: You will be given responsibility for developing, automating, and continuously improving Dustin’s cloud-based data platform, enabling secure, scalable, and efficient data capabilities that power analytics, Agentic AI, automation, and business decision-making across the organization.
Collaboration: Together with your team, you take care of delivering the foundation for Dustin’s data and AI transformation, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable data capabilities that create business value. You'll work closely not only with your immediate team members but also with data engineering, analytics, architecture, and business stakeholder teams to enable impactful data-driven solutions across the organization.
Core activities:
Develop, maintain, and evolve Dustin’s cloud-based data platform in Azure and Databricks to support scalable analytics, AI, and data-driven decision-making
Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform to ensure efficient, secure, and reliable platform delivery
Automate platform deployment, configuration, monitoring, and operational processes to improve scalability, governance, and the developer experience across data teams

Additionally, it's important that:
Bachelor or Master's degree in computer science or related field
5+ years of experience with building and developing cloud-based data platforms, Infrastructure-as-Code, and CI/CD processes
Proven experience in Databricks, Terraform, and CI/CD
Knowledge of SQL, Python, and Azure is needed
